THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY JUSTICE OF THE SENSELESS MURDER OF “LAVA K” AKA KEMESHA MATTHEWS… HER BROTHER WHO RESIDE IN CANADA TOLD WORLD LYNKZ™ TODAY “ I AM STILL MOURNING “ I AM IN FEAR FOR MY MOTHERS LIFE, WHO IS STILL LEFT BACK IN JAMAICA” LAVA K was murdered by Nessine ArkLight Mardner, Dec 1, 2011… It is said that Mardner used a screw drive and stab the mother of his Child five (5) times in her head!
The Jamaican media was too busy covering the elections to even take the time to report this incident… I wonder how many more murders they “ forgot” to report.
When is this enough? when will the world take a stand and realize that “ Woman Have no rights what so ever in Jamaica” and most parts of the world! Justice is imminent, Why was Mardner release (7) seven days after the incident? How could the police department that handled the investigation let a MURDERER out on bail… He is and was in the right of mind when he committed that gruesome act against an helpless female who no doubt was begging for her life and Mardner had no heart- cold and cruel snatched her life from her!
We beg and plea with the media around the world to take notice and not to let the death of people in domestic violence be swept under the rug and go unnoticed and unpunished…
WE ASK FOR JUSTICE FOR ALL WOMAN! And FREEDOM FROM THOSE WHO THINKS THEM SELVES SUPERIOR TO TAKE WHAT GOD ALONE GAVE! Which is LIFE!
“I make music to uplift the masses. I strive to make today better for the children. My album, "Zion's Lullaby," is more than music. It is my experiences, my struggles, my joys, and my hopes for the world.”
Khalilah Rose is an exceptional talent. Her lyrics, penned to inspire a generation, articulated to bring awareness to the struggle of all people, yet soft enough to resonate lullaby’s, love music, and chants to the Almighty (El Shaddai).
Khalilah is a conscious spirit whose music brings about awareness of the world around her. Having a special affinity to music she was inspired and this began her journey as a song writer at age 12.
Singing was innate as her voice would travel through the house. Her family was her original fan base, encouraging and watching as she would demonstrate her natural ability to dance, sing and act.
Music continued to ring in her head and soon the urge became too strong to repress. Once she decided to pursue music professionally, there were some challenges. Though many tried to change her, she remained true to herself knowing that, “there is no price tag on my soul.”
Her earthiness and sparkling personality has won over the hearts of directors, radio personalities, producers and fans alike. This songstress represents a strong history of women walking in light, learning in love and standing up for what is righteous
Her single "No Gunz," produced by Carl James on the “Deeper Riddim,” is making a great impression in the industry today for its meaningful lyrics, as it relays the unfortunate story of many who have lost their loved ones to violent deaths. It also takes a political stand while asking the question, how all those guns got in the ghetto.
Currently backed by Big Boss Band, she is colorful and fluid as her taste for music does not only span the reggae scene, but reaches across boundaries. With the upcoming release of her sophomore album, "Zion's Lullaby," her credentials are broadening as the executive producer for various tracks. She has worked with notable producers: Carl James, Bobby Digital, Phillip Smart, Fifth Element Records and has had the opportunity to perform in venues with Capelton, Luciano, Gyptian, India Arie, Etana, Yami Bolo, Everton Blender and Turbulence the Future. She continues to make an impact touching audiences around New York City as well as the United States’ east coast.
Just as a rose’s thorn is crucial to guard its natural God given beauty, Khalilah Rose feels it necessary to protect the youth. A special education teacher by trade she has a love for children and making a difference in the lives of many, as she has also worked in local homeless shelters and promoted literacy in her community.
Knowing that giving is the cure she will continue to use her platform to raise awareness and strengthen the future generations. Her love for humanity comes through in her music, proving the lyrics of, "Jah is Living," featuring Lutan Fyah, produced by House of Riddims, out of Austria.
As the story would go without a test there is no testimony, "The hotter the battle, the sweeter the victory!”
